Jerome answers some of your questions... Jerome has answered some of your questions which were posted on the forum and we thought we would share them with you all here. .....

Q. Do you have a favourite Scottish Football team? If not, would you care to adopt St Johnstone? You are a cult hero amongst our fans for some unknown reason... it would make sense... look forward to hearing back from you. A. Cant say I did have a favourite Scottish team..but it would now have to be St Johnstone, so Yes I gladly accept the offer of adopting St Johnstone, and send you all my regards and best of luck for the rest of the season! ( think we're gonna need it!)

Q.Jerome, any chance of a one hour speical "soldier soldier" of a paddy, tucker reunion? you woud be a sgt major by now i would think. and tucker?????? woudl be great to see you back togeather causeing havoc again. A. Philly thanks, I never say never but the chances of a one hour S.S reunion special look very slim indeed Im afraid...though I have to admit that is something that comes up in a recurring dream...that is finding myself on the set again with everybody about to start a new series. It was a great time for us all, but we've moved way on now and I just cant see it happenning. Great memories but the future beckons with new challenges ahead.

Q. Hiya!! I was lucky enough to see 'Jus Like That' when Jerome performed at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry and I absolutely loved it. My sides ached all the way through from laughing, yet there was a deep poignancy to the performance too. Are there any plans to tour again with the show? I would love to see it again!!! A.Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I was close to touring Tommy again last year, but it didnt work out. I feel again that its probably something that wont repeat in the forseeable future.I kind of gave it my all and playing Tommy for two hours every night takes its toll on ones sanity, so I feel in a way that its in the past now and I hopefully I served him well and purged him from my system at the same time. I have to say that at the time it felt more like a double act than me out there on my own. I can safely say though that it was the most satisfying, enjoyable and exciting job I have ever done, and it will be darn hard to beat.

Q. Whats been the most difficult part in touring? And how have you overcome these barriers? And has their been a time when you've felt frustrated on stage? A. The most difficult part of touring was spending so much time on the road, ( with Tommy it spread over two years ). So the distance from family and friends made it challenging at times, though I did have six lovely dancing girls looking after me ! ( not like that )...and we made our own touring family.Frustrated on stage? Well yes if tricks went wrong too much or I fluffed gags, but generally because I was playing Tommy, I could do what I liked, so frustration wasnt really on the menu.

Q. Hi Jerome , Really want to know if you will be launching your singing career again. Have got all your cd's, need some more!! With or without Robson! Seem to recall you on "Ready Steady Cook" a few years back saying that you were recording a new album, I think just you on your own. What happened to it? Would love to hear you sing again. Lots of love, Shelly A. Shelley.....oh.. you might have to wait for the album for a while yet...and possibly indefinately! Though like I said, I never say never. The album idea was specifically to raise money for something I was involved with at that time that then fell through. I did write some songs and had a great time doing it, and who knows, there may yet be incentive for me to try again, but that whole business of pop is cut throat and you have to really want it, and put alot into it, and in all honesty there are now much more important things in my life to spend time on. I am about to buy a guitar though and take some lessons! As I have been inspired by my hugely talented younger brother Johnny, who has his own band " Johnny Flynn and the Sussex Wit". He is presently touring the UK, producing an album and generally being a very exciting star of a little brother. He writes great new folksy country songs and plays about six instruments and...well obviously I taught him everything he knows. So my dream would be to sing something with him sometime( and my wee sister Lilly who sings with him), though that might be restricted to a family occasion round the fire if they have their way! I'll let you know if we go public! <

Q. What's Jerome up to now? Surely something... panto even? A. Ah...yes I knew that question was coming. Well I've recently moved to pembrokeshire where I am taking over a lovely property overlooking the Irish Sea. It has lots of outbuildings and huge potential for something very beautiful to happen. And that is really connected to why Im not acting or singing at the moment, because my energy needs to be here to bring this place to its full potential. I want it to be a place that people can come to to heal their hearts , minds and bodies, a sanctuary for souls returning home, in the harshness of these times. When I have settled in I will sit down and write more of this dream that has been in my heart since I was but a boy, and maybe there will be a way that you lovely lot will be able to help me or even vice versa. But this is early stages and Ive literally just got in...so the baby needs time to grow naturally with alot of the right sort of love and attention. But I promise to keep you up to date. For now though, I have to go find some floorboards to put in the attic!
